There's two things I don't like to be, that is a Monday person, and a up early in the morning person. Tommorrow, I HAVE to be both against my will. :(
But above all that...today I have to be thankful for
1. Straws. This morning, after buying some at walmart last night, and being out of them here at the house a few days, I was SO GLAD to sip a Dr. Pepper through one again!
2. That Natalie had fun at Madisons' house last night. :)
3. That Tina wanted to keep Natalie all night, and that she did! ;) (Tina...U SPOIL ME!)
4. The sermon at church today! It was on Tithing (spelled right?) And do you know we gave more than usual., and the amount we gave was returned to us as payment from someone tonight.! Amazing how God really is Provisional in an Extra-ordinary way!
5. Today, the preacher said in the pulpit that he was Thankful that he was there and able by God's grace to tell us the news! I was thankful to hear someone else speak of being thankful! It made me smile! (it's really good to be thankful for things....especially the small things all year long!)
6. Finding a new bible today! :) Haven't gotten it yet though...want to make sure that's the one I want before I buy it!
7. For Robert and Linda coming over tonight for a while! It was nice to have them over for a while! (Nathans' Mom and Dad. )
8. This weekend...it was a very good one!
9. That Nathan and I had a nice evening last night!
10. That today's weather was nice !
11. cleaning out my car today...it needed it!
12. Talking to Mom on the phone!
13. That my parents and Nathans' are all four still here and for the most part strong and able! ~ Nathan and I got to thinking today about some things, and it was amazing to us how many of our friends parent's are all starting to pass on to bigger and better unearthly places! So many of us still do have our parent's and don't realize what a "backbone" they are for us, nor how much we reallyLOVE our parent's until it's too late. I could not imagine waking up knowing that neither of my parent's are a phone call away, or a drive away either. That thought just scares me to no end. Almost four years ago, both of our parents were alot more healthier than they are today, but they are still just as strong as they were! That I am thankful for! So thankful!
Natalie is just not able to do her thankful list with me today, b/c she's in the bed! But at any rate, it is so neat to listen to what a 2 year old is thankful for. You wouldn't think a 2 year old would have a clue what to be thankful for, but they know what /who they like and love, and they don't forget the important things in life either! :) Just like us, they too need time in the day to reflect on what made them thankful, and how God being in their life can make them happier! :)
I'll leave it at that today!
