WOW! What a cool sermon I heard today! (and, I ventured out of my comfort zone, and went to church without my husband, or my Mom...I've always had either of them by my side, and today he had to work, and she, well, was at her house, in her church, with her husband!:)
Today's sermon was Mark15:33-39 "My God, Why?" Read it! It's powerful! Jesus' in his weakest moment cried out to God, asking him why? (sound familar?) All of us in some of our weakest moments always ask "why?" This made me think! NOTHING I have ever done, or will ever do should make me want to ask God why, ever again! BUT, Jesus kept his strength...for reason and purpose. He is our pathway to God, and still encourages us to Believe, and have faith, and Honor! Everyone of us need to stop and think to ourselves, why are we asking why at times when we should be remembering Jesus made it through with faith, and honor, and SO WILL I! Keep prayer in your hourly routine, and God in your heart and mind every second. With God, all things are possible! I encourage everyone who reads this , to really understand what Easter is! Yes, it is about the resurerction of Christ our Lord, Jesus, but it is also about the crucifiction. We shouldn't compare ourselves to him, but keep in mind that he offers his unconditional love for us through faith and honor! :) Happy Easter!
With that, today I am thankful for the following:
1. Going to Church with my daughter today, and learning more about Jesus with her!
2. The great sermon at church today!
3. Natalie taking a nap this afternoon!
4. For Gizmo and Nikki! They are sweet little companions, I love them!
5. That Natalie's ear is doing SO MUCH better!
6. Making Coffee and having some Finetti Cream Wafer Rolls, Mocha Cappuccino Flavored one's. DELICIOUS! My Mom gave me them, and I Love them! Thanks Mom!
7. Natalie being so optimistic about things! She's so concerned about others, and their well being!
8. My digital camera!
9. I am very thankful for my car! It isn't the biggest, or bestest car in the world, but it suites my needs, and get me around perfectly!
10. The pictures that Natalie had made at daycare, and at Walmart. She takes a perfect picture!
