Dad's surgery went well! With only one minor disturbance for the anesthiologist, the knee replacement itself, went really well. Thank you all for your prayers, and thoughts, phone calls, comments on my blog, and visits to the hospital...and an extra special thanks to Dad's friend Jim Mallard who came to check on Dad last night! We appreciate you all! It's great knowing that we have such caring, Christian, loving friends and family to help depend on!
My thankful list includes:
1. That my Dad's surgery went well, and that he has pain prevention measures in place!
2. That I was able to be with Dad yesterday.
3. That I am able to be off work today.
4. For the Chicken and Dumplins' my Mother-in-Law made for us last night. They were awesome! ;)
5. That my Mother-in-Law kept Natalie for me a while last night. That was GREATLY needed!
6. One of Nathan's friends Mom passed away this weekend, and he went to her visitation last night. I am thankful in knowing that his friend is at peace with God and knows that his Mother is with the Lord. Nathan said he was doing well at the visitation, but please keep him and his family in prayer, the funeral is today.
7. I am thankful for my crockpot today, b/c I am leaving supper in it for tonight! Easy meal, and relativly quick for me to make!;)
8. I am thankful that I had previously made chocolate chip pancakes, and so geniously thought to freeze them, b/c I am having them for breakfast with fruit this morning! ;)
9. I am thankful for my Uncle Danny getting back to California safely, and with time left in his day to wind down there. Thanks for calling last night! We love you! ;)
10. I am thankful for my big brother who worried all day about Dad's surgery, and very thoughtfully called to check on him last night! :)
11. I am thankful for my little brother who came and spent the day the hospital with My Mom yesterday to be with her through Dad's surgery.
12.One more thing...I am very thankful that one of my best friends lives two doors down from me, Thanks Tina, for all you do, and who you are! :) I love you! (heck, we all love you!)
