Meet "Sassy" she's my neice! Nathan's brother adopted her this past weekend. I can't resist sharing this picture b/c in my opinion, she's adorable!
Yesterdays and today thankful list in one...A working Mom, means a very tired and run down person at the end of the day, and definitely not an everyday blogger, but a blogger who constantly thinks of things I am greatly thankful for more often now than before "blogging". Literally it's the little things in life that God's provided for us, that I feel are not really thought of when things are taken forgranted. Which is why I am thankful for this "blogging thing" ever being brought to my attention! :)
Today I am thankful for :
1. Time spent having breakfast with Natalie yesterday morning.
2. Yesterday being payday.
3. Taking Natalie to the park yesterday afternoon in Cadiz for just a few minutes. She really enjoyed the slides, and I enjoyed watching her go up to go down, and over again! :)
4. Talking to my Mom last night, several times! :)
5. Making plans to go to my Moms this weekend, and then from there to go to my brothers house for a while.
6. Having Sonic for supper last night. We did the 5 for $5 deal, and Natalie wanted the Jr. Banana Split...which I caved and got for her. I think she thought it was WEIRD...she tasted it, with a strange look on her face, and stired it once or twice, and said. "I'm done" and pushed it away!
7. Calling Tina last night to talk to her! :)
8. Singing Amazing Grace with Natalie...she just loves that song!
9. A good nights sleep last night.
10. Getting some laundry done
today...
1. Nathan being late for work today....b/c he got to help me get the dogs fed, and out this morning, and Natalie liked him being around when she got up.
2. Being able to type well....cause if I couldn't, I wouldn't type at all.
3. That work was okay today. I anticipated a very bad day, but it was okay!
4. Being able to read other peoples blogs. I like to read Sarah's and Carries' blogs. Sarah's having a good time in N.C., and I am thankful for that, and...today, Carrie has the cutest picture of her two boys!
5. Natalie running to me when I picked her up from daycare and hugging my leg today! :) I usually get to check on her once or twice during the day, and today I didn't. It must have been a long day for her, b/c she was SO EXCITED when I picked her up today.
6. Being able to read the newspaper tonight.
7. Cooking supper, and spending some time with Natalie tonight. She's such a little sweetie.
8. That I am able, responsible and caring enough to see to it that my child is VERY well taken care of. Seeing a child that is malnourished, and with a neglected look about them is just sad. Heart breaking!
9. Receiving an email from my sister-n-law and the sweet sweet pictures she sent me of their new doggy! Nathan's brother, Dion, has been wanting an English Bulldog for a long time she says, and he finally got one this weekend!
