Psalm 124

"If the Lord had not been on our side- let Israel say-. 2. if the Lord had not been on our side when men attacked us....." please open your bible, and read on! ThisPsalm is really cool I think! Verse 8 says " Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Now, if you have read the whole chapter (all of 8 verses!), you will see that no matter how bad we might think we have it, the Lord has saved us from the worst of what we could have had it b/c he is on our side. "We have escaped like a bird...". This will be just good for me to remember in difficult times, you know, anything thats' tough, but undoubtedly could be much tougher. Knowing this is encouraging to me, and hopefully it is too you too!
Today I am thankful for the following:
1. Thanks be to the Lord!
2. My family
3. That my Dad's doing well! He got home last night. Neither he or Mom got much sleep for him being uncomfortable, but overall, he's doing what the doctor says, and staying strong! Keep up the good work Dad! You are loved! :)
4. I am thankful that Sarah, my cousin, and her family are finally getting safely and comfortable moved into their new home in California!:)
5. I am thankful to know that my friend Shonda and her new fiancee are joyfully planning for their wedding, and are piecing every little detail together, just the way they both would want for it to be! ;) Way to go Shonda, I am proud of you!
6. I am thankful for this week being OVER with!:)
7. I am thankful for the walk that Tina and I went on yesterday! Even though Tina walked before I made it home for work, she walked another mile and and half with me, so that I could walk with company!:)
8. I am thankful that Nathans' friend Billy came over tonight for a while, Nathan enjoys the company of his friends!
9. Yesterday was Stephanies' birthday! Happy Birthday Steph! I have not been in touch with you in a while, so if you read this, I hope that you had a good day, and good weekend!
10. I am thankful that Natalie went to bed a long time ago, b/c I had a very peaceful hour of reading my bible! :)
