Howdy...I have a HUGE list of "Thankfuls". My blog has had a long enough rest! :) Don't you think!
Last weekend Natalie and I left daycare/work on Friday and went straight to Louisville! :) We had "slumber party" with one of my very dear friends, Pamela! I don't know who had more fun with Pamela, me or Natalie. We shopped, talked, shopped, ate, shopped, and slept. LOL! (just a little bit of shopping!) Friends are so great to have, especially the ones that will grow up with my daughter! ;) (v/v). Pamela is expecting her first baby ( I think a boy,Natalie says it's a girl...Pamela doesn't want to know....so we'll see) in July. (the 27th? I think).
At any rate...for all things from last weekend, and perhaps during the week, I am thankful for:
1. Getting to see and spend time with Pamela.
2. Natalie being able to get to know her "God-Mother" a lot more last weekend (that's Pamela)
3. Being able to see and talk to Pamelas' Mom and Dad a little bit too.
4. Going to Babies-R-Us for the first time, with a huge desire to have already been there before then, with Pamela.
5. Being able to give Pamela some insight as to what she'll really "need" for her baby when 'he' first arrives. (It's so funny seeing "new Moms" after already being one....they want so many things that really aren't even needed. The "market " has it all!
6. Shopping in the two malls of Louisville, and also having Natalie with me. She did pretty good. I think we wore her out Saturday....she nearly wore me out too.
7. Realizing that Natalie is JUST like ME! the Oxmoor mall in Louisville has tons of Escalators. Natalie LOVED them. We went up and down them just for her excitement numerous times. (I am sure people wondered about us!) When I was little I did the same thing...ask my Mom!
8. A safe trip to and from Louisville.
9. Meeting my Mom in E-town on our way home. She was on her way home from Cinncinatti Ohio, we wanted to meet up in Louisville, but there was nowhere that I knew of that she knew of ...so we just drove on to E-town, and met there...very logical!
10. My husband being home when we got home, we were both ready to see him! :)
