"...A true friend sticks by you..." Proverbs 18:24

Another dear friend of mine sent me a card this week, and it was much needed. Inside the card, she wrote in it and signed her name, at the bottom of the card preprinted was "...A true friend sticks by you..." Proverbs 18:24. I pulled out my Bible yesterday, and went to read this verse. It is so true. I don't know how much attention you readers have paid to Proverbs, but that book is FULL of everyday life applications! I love it! and ....I needed to read some of it that I read!
Thanks Tina...for that card, it meant alot to me! :) Especially after the week that I had!
The 10 Things i am thankful for today are:
1. That my Mom and Dad have Natalie today! I am not sure what to do with myself without Natalie here, but I can share this..I have desperately needed this time to do whatever in my house with out her here, and I know she needs time without me! I know she is loving her time with her "Bramma and Brampa! " -she doesn't quite have the 'gru..' down pat yet.
2. Going to the post office, grocery, and farmers market bymyself this morning. I felt like a free bird! :)
3. Talking to my Mamaw on the phone last night. It's always good to talk to her when I do. I just love my Mamaw. We made plans for Natalie and Nathan and Mom and Dad to go there on Mothers Day!
4. Going over to Tina's house for a few minutes this morning. I didn't really know what to do over there, Madison wasn't there, Natalie wasn't with me either. We chated for a few about nothing really, and exchanged the feelings of joy of having "no child" this weekend! Then I came home!
5. okay, I am thankful for the dr.pepper italian charm I purchased on ebay this week. I haven't got it yet...but I will have soon!
6. That Gizmo is enjoying hisself. I am discovering a different side of him today. He usually camps out in his little cozy cage, but he's plopped out in the middle of the floor today, with no worries! lOl! I did grab one picture of him all cozy in Natalies' chair...he's never been in it before...hum, wonder if he misses her?

7. I am really thankful for being able to visit with my Mother in Law at the hospital last night with Nathan and his Dad. She's 10 days out of bi-lateral knee replacement, and doing quite well!
8. For Nathan, Mark, and Tina getting the tanning bed here. The tanning bed being here instead of Tina's has several pro's. a. I can tan in my own house! :) b. Tina has more room in her house! :) c. I am helping Tina out! d. Tina's still got acess to it ANYTIME she wants, e. I've always wanted a tanning bed!
9. That Mark and Nathan will have hopefully forgiven me by now over last Monday night. I'll just say I was not in a good mood, tired, and pms'ing! -majorly-They took the wretched wrath of it, and I am sorry! Mark, and Nathan, I hope that I am forgiven, it won't happen again, ever!
10. For my little brother, and his little family! They are very very busy with their little ones, others little ones, and work. It's been a while since I've seen them, and hope too soon!
11. I am thankful for the so many people I know who are expecting babies! (Pamela, Sheila, Sarah, Missy, Beth,) They all have wanted to have babies for a while, and I pray for the best for them. :)
12. Did I say my Mom and Dad today!
13. I am thankful for my eye sight. Even though it isn't good, I can read close up without contacts, or glasses on! That's a good thing! I have done alot of reading and writing today.
