Our Lords' presence sure was with Natalie during her surgery.
Natalie's surgery went well. She's recovering okay too. She's not wanting to drink, however, with some effort, and the right people here at the right time, she's taking an ounce per syringe when needed. Her taking her medicine....well...I don't even want to talk about it. (not going well).
Today I am thankful for:
1. Bro. Jim being at the hospital when we got there Friday morning. We didn't expect anyone we knew to be there that early, however, our preacher was, and ready to help us through with prayer! Thanks Bro. Jim!
2. Mom and Dad coming to the hospital before the surgery so that Natalie could see them before and after as well. Mom and Dad stayed the whole day. I know that was tiring for them, but much needed, and appreciated on my and Natalie's parts! As well, all the goodies they brought for her (crayons, books, coloring books, gums, a doll or two!)Thanks Mom and Dad!
3. Andrew and Tristyn coming to the hospital to see Natalie. Natalie seeing Tristyn really perked her up, and made her day! Thanks Andrew!
4. Robert and Linda (Nathans Mom and Dad) being at the hospital the night of her surgery, and all the goodies they brought her. (crayons, coloring books, books!)
5.Dion and Paula calling us Friday to check on Natalie and see how she was, and how she'd made it through her surgery!
6. That Natalie was able to down 5 ounces Saturday so that she could finally go home! I was READY to! I think we left the hospital around 2:00p.m.
7. Tina and Madison coming over Saturday and Sunday and bring her some goodies, as well as the company was great! Madison was making sure Natalie knew she was a princess by crowing her with a princess crown, and earings! So sweet!
8. for each day that Natalie continues to do better and better.
9. Knock on wood, I've experienced little to NO nausea recently!
10. For my husband b/c he's the greatest!
