"If one member suffers, all the member suffer with it!" ~ 1 Corinthians 12:26

" A caring heart, a listening ear, a thoughtful word, a gentle tear will help to lift the heavy load of weary souls along life's road"- D.De Haan. To ease another's burden, help carry it.
Family's are for love, support, encouragement, caring, and all that good stuff. Especially at this time of the year, I am so thankful for my family. Each and every person in my family (immediate, and extended ) mean a great deal to me. Families are a gift from God.
I've always enouraged my famliy, to do more than they think they are capable of. My Mom has always encouraged the most of me, and always encouraged me to be all that I can be. Mom and Dad, and my big brother, and Nathan have been 100% behind me, even when I wasn't sure for myself. That's what family is all about. Right?
Therefore, I have always tried to do that myself. I have tried to put the worth into ones self, and the umption in ones gumption (so to speak), and the ability in reliability for each and every individual I love (right down to my Mamaw)! :)
But through it all, I have learned in life, that one has to really want for themselves first. And that my folks is hard to really see. If someone, a family member/friend even, doesn't want to see the light, beleive in possibilties, you can't make them understand any more than what they don't already know. But, you can help carry their burdens, God will show us how!
This Christmas, let your family know how much they mean to you, tell them you love them, and encourage the best for them. Family is way too important not to carry each others burdens, and certainly way to important to let them 'waste' away their dreams. If you love them, let them know, and mean it when you say it.

Today I am thankful for:
1. My family (includes everyone!)
2. My church family.
3. The independance my family has shown me through the years that I can exhibit on my own.
4. This being Christmas.
5. Being one of Gods children, and knowing that everyday I strive to do what he wants me to do.
6. Prayer. Prayer is powerful, and works!
7. Okay, I am SO thankful that we got the last of Natalie's Christmas in the mail today! :) YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
8. I am thankful for Chocolate homemade pies....man are they good! :)
9. The little baby who's growing strong and able in -side of me.
10. The thought that Natalie is so excited to be a big sister! She can't wait.
11. For Nathan winning some UK basketball game tickets. He paid a whole $5.00 for a raffle ticket, and WON! :) That's cool, cause we never win anything! :)
12. For Natalie feeling better!
13. For finding my baby names book, that I thought I'd lost. We are still searching for the right name. Not one have we picked of any of those we've thought of. However, he'll know that his name will be special, and that it took us a very long time to pick it out, instead of just 'giving' him any ole' name. ;0 ) Such a neat little process in the long run! I love it.
14. Last but NOT least, I am thankful for the scrapbook my Mom made for me of Nikki Belle (my dog) who passed away on July 1, 2006. Thanks Mom...it is a very special scrap book. Natalie loved it too!
