Perseverance....

Bradley and I on Mothers' Day. We were waiting on Nathan and Natalie before church...they'd gone to get the car all gased up! This by the way is a 'self portriate!'
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. .......But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Those who doubt should not think they will receive anything from the Lord; they are double minded and unstable in all they do. " James 1:2-4, 6-8.
What a statement! Man...that's powerful. We ALL face trials of many kinds. Thats fact. But do we ALL allow God to guide us through them. Actually letting God take control, and release our worries and fears to Him. I've tried earnestly recently to allow that to happen. Seriously, it's caused me nothing but happiness, and a certain peace that I could never have experienced otherwise. God's the only One who can lead our lifes, and to the fullest. Got questions????..take them to the books of the Bible, Got thanks??? ....take those to GOD!!!
1. Daily devotionals.
2. My daughter who, picked a up a piece of paper at the post office today, and handed it to me, and says..."Happy Mothers Day Mommy!" (she's taking this Mothers Day thing to the max....it's everyday for her....which is fine by me! :) )
3. My Mother-in-law keeping Bradley this a.m. ...allowing Natalie and I to PICK STRAWBERRIES!!!!! (they were pretty much picked over though...the frost in March really did a number on everything here. {~Sarah...you can mail me some more CALIFORNIA ones this year!}haha!
4. Tina, graciously allowing me to use her printer for a certain purpose this evening!
5. Taking my kids to Madisons band concert last night! :) It was great...and BRADLEY loved it! ;)
6. Natalie loving the library like she does. She's picking up on a few words...and begining to recognize them herself! :)
7. Getting some errands done today!

9. My nephew's birthday was last week...and I didn't post it on my blog...shame on me! Happy Birthday JOHNATHAN....we love ya buddy! :)
10. My Casting Crowns CD's...I have really been listening to them recently...that's a cool band!
