Just a year ago, I was SO SO excited right now! I had at this point taken 6 EPT's, and one of those test that says either Pregnant, or Not Pregnant! :) Yeah!~ I was finally pregnant. Through that 9 months I thought they would never end, and now here I am wishing I could just stop the passing time for a while, so I can 'relish' my baby boy as a baby forever! However, I will relish in thoughts forever how precious he is now. :) He's the sweetest baby on earth!!!!!
Honestly, I was more nervous about having him, although I so deeply desired another baby, than I was when I had Natalie. I was nervous I think after I found out he was a HE! My thoughts consisted of 1. What in the world was I going to do with a little boy? 2. A BOY???? 3. I have had so much fun with my little girly girl, how can I do the opposite now? 4. Boy's aren't BABIES...they are BOYS!!!!!!!
SILLY me ! He's the sweetest, most perfect little baby in the whole entire world! {of course...I would think so, being his mommy and all!} I am so lucky to have my little boy. Every minute that I look into his eyes, my heart sinks deeper and deeper in love with him. ah....irreplaceable!
Children & babies are truely a gift from God. The love they can create is Magnificant.
Today I was driving to lunch and I noticed on someones bumper, it said "Our God is an awesome God!" I thought 'Yes He IS!!!!' and for the rest of the day I sang that song: " Our God is an Awesome God, He reigns from Heaven above with wisdom, power and love, our God is awesome God. " Love that song! ;)
I am thankful for:
1. My children !
2. The trials and tribulations that make me stronger as a parent, and person.
3. My week this week. It was great, and life is good!
4. Meeting with my Mom in Murray last night for supper! Thanks Mom! I Love you.
5. My husband! He closed an interim chapter in his life last week, and opened another one, with permanency. He's now a Sales Rep. for Coca-Cola, and loves it so much. He broke into sales through a Car lot in Clarksville (nervously) after he retired from Dana (prematurely~ in other words, he's not old enough to retire, but he did it anyways...he left the company!) and did wonderful with 'sales'. He applied and received this job with the leading producer in the world of product and sales, and feels great about it! I am proud of him!
6. and, well myself. After MUCH thought and contemplation, I decided to accept a job position I had applied for a while back. I LOVED being at home with my babies~although very tireing and trying at times~ and wouldn't replace the time I had at home with them for anything. But I enjoy too being out in the society, and knowing that I have a place there also. So, again, I am back in the workforce. I am the Case Manager for Trigg County's Big Brothers Big Sisters program, a National orginazation for children who need a mentor in some way or another. If you have questions, email me.
7. The time I had at home with my kids for 4 and half months. :) Being back at work gives me perspective that I would have never been able to have with out having that opportunity to be at home. It takes alot for a Mom to be at home doing with and raising her children day in and day out. But too, it takes ALOT for a working Mom. Both are to be praised!
8. Being able to watch the wildlife in my neighborhood. How many of you readers knew that DEER make noises? I DID NOT! I saw a deer on my walk last week, and what I saw and heard was awesome!
9. The power of prayer!
10. Emails back and forth from my sister in law Amanda.
