Mid January...

I've gotten a new laptop, and it's taking some getting used to! I'm not loving the keyboard, and the little 'whatevers' that I incidently hit, that so generously 'rids' of my typed works, so annoys me.
This month of January has totally flown by. So far, we've had two snow days already, I've had the unwelcome event of having to have our Gizmo put to sleep. Although we gave him to my older brother in July 09', we still considered him our dog! We thought of him often, checked on him weekly, and saw him every chance we could. Around the 4th of the month, my brother called me extrememly concerned of Gizmo. After two days of him suffering and seizing, and being very responsive to all of what was happening, except to the medicine, it was necessary to have him put to sleep. Gizmo began seizing, and there was no stopping it. He was very medicated, stayed in the hospital over 32 hours, and was inevitable that he come out of what was bothering him. After the vet had conculded all other options, it was diagnosed as a brain tumor. ;( Very sad for us all.The kids have recently celebrated the 100th day of school! On the 99th day of school, Natalie wore a pair of Leggings with a shirt that I'd made for her. Her Shirt sported 100 dots in pink and green, with her N initial on it. On the 100th day, the primary school enjoyed a pajama day! The kids loved it. Who wouldn't like going to school /work in Pajamas?!!!
Natalie recently decided that she wanted to participate in a local beauty pageant which is put on by the parents of Project Graduation every year. It's usually very fun to do, however, I've scheduled my sons 3rd Birthday party that day instead, and that's whole nother' subject! lol!
Natalie's enjoying her school and friends these days. She's found that she really likes to skate! Like Mother like Daughter! Above you'll see the 'wall quilt' the 1st grade class of her's made for 100 days of school. Below are some pictures of Natalie and her friends. I went to take a picture of her wearing her pj's to school, and her little friends jumped right in! hahah! They are so cute!

Now, Bradley my son! He's turning 3 on the 12th of Feb. I can't beleive. He's still my baby, no matter how big he gets, he's my baby. He's quickly transforming from the 'toddler years', to the preschool age! I am stunned! How time flies so quickly. We are still working earnestlyh with his wishy-washy desires to potty train. one day he does well, the next day he's completely aggrivated at the suggestion to go potty. In his due time I supposed? They say it's harder to train a boy, and I beleive it!
