Spent time with my Mom's brother Danny, and his oldest son Darren and Family. Darren and his family currently are in London England, and we completely enjoyed getting the kids together, and just creating memories! I was SO worried about the WHOLE few hours we would be spending with everyone there at once, on the account of all the kids. My son doesn't travel too well, he is very much set into a routine, and when he's removed from his routine, he's NOT fun to deal with. But for the most part, the kids played SO good together, Bradley went to sleep ok, and a few adults were only about to loose their minds a time or two. I must agree though, someone said when you have this many kids, so close in age together, it's going to be difficult. They won't always be little. ( I think that someone was my Mom! She's so special)
Darrens' children were precious too, and I LOVED their accents! British accents!
We didn't get ONE picture of our Grandmother with all the kids together, but we did manage one of all the kids!
TOO CUTE uh?
Our Easter Service this morning was awsome! We went with Liberty Point's Church service, which is a happy little Baptist church we've been visiting since around August of 09'. I really do like the services. (I am not Baptist,.... through and through 1st Christian church, but you don't find those around the Baptist Belt of the world). I miss the respect of the Communion cup passing on every Sabbath day. I miss the Acts of Salvation in the Plan of Salvations. It is true one needs to be a believer, and repent of your sins. (which is what a Baptist believer calls being SAVED). Once you are a Believer, and have Repented of your sins, why stop there? You've acted in believing, and acted on publicly repenting your sins, .....SO WHY NOT follow through, as Jesus told John the Baptist, and BE BAPTIZED. It's as if you are saying you are ready to go to church, but never go, or say for instance you say you'll go to church, or... somewhere, or promise to do something.....which is good....buy why wait? Such a silly notion to me. Suppose something happens, that takes your life between the time you've accepted Christ, state your Belief, and have Repented, and are Baptized. You'll have missed that opportunity to follow through with Christ's desires of our faith, our walk with God as a Christian, the acting upon believing! How silly. I am a procrastinator, but that is ONE thing I can't agree upon procrastinating on.SO....anyways.....for the sake of having our kids in a good Christian enviornment, a healthy Sunday School, and a great family of Christians, Liberty Point it is. I do beleive Nathan decided to make ourselves members of the church today on a spur of the moments decision. ? We'll see how it goes!
We didn't get our usual family Easter picture...but we got a few good ones to share in years to come.
