Well, after a few days of not being on here, I must say, I have been sorta thinkin. While there's alot to be "thankful" about, there's alot lately to not be "thankful" about too. All-awhile thinking that, I am reminding myself that God's got a plan for the "big" picture doesn't he! He sure does!So I reckon, I just need to keep my Faith up, and moving even during the "tough" times as well? So, do I need to be thankful for the tough times?, or just be thankful for knowing that the 'tough' times too will pass, with desireable outcomes? And quit asking why? Comments? Perhaps this is my pesimistic side, who knows.
Before I get on with it, I want to ask everyone who reads this to please keep my Mom and Dad in your Prayers. Dad's had some trouble with one of his knees this past week, and after finally going to the doctor with it, he didn't really hear what he/we wanted to hear. His left knee has just seen its' day in age. Literally, he's got to have a total knee replacement b/c the knee cap is bone to bone. Not only that but he's got diabetic neuropathy in that leg also, and he doesn't eat like he needs to. I warned him if he didn't start eating right, he was gonna end up loosing that leg. It just scares me to think about it, and hopefully it will him too. So please remember to pray for him, and Mom that she will be strong enough to deal with him and his needs during the time before and after surgery. "Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." Matthew 9: 29
Today I am thankful for:
1. Being able to help my Mom and Dad however that I can!
2. Having Nikki here, Natalie just adores her.
3. Having Tina over for breakfast this morning! (even though I think she had more fun laughing at me and Nathan cooking together, I had fun!)
4. Getting a THREE hour nap today!
5. My daughter having such a special name! She is named after the two most important people in the world! Nathan and my Mom (Nathan Brent and Barbara Carol!) It takes a special person to have someone named after you, and an even more special person to have two people named after you. (Nathan's got his daughter, and nephew-Johnathan Brent Allen- and Mom's got her grandaughter, and Honorary Neice -Elizabeth Carol Rhenburg-! It comforts me knowing that Mom and Nathan have two very very special people named after them! That's the way it should be! :)
6. Getting some things done today.
7. Not having any rain today...so that Nikki and Gizmo could actually stay out for a while!
8. Hearing from Shonda via email yesterday, and that she and Marcie got a chance to talk after nine years!
9. Learning how to make biscuits, and Nathan telling me that they are really good! (even though I measure it all out Tina, someday they just might be as good as Vickies!)
10. That tommorrow is Sunday, and that I might get another nap after church! :)
11. My Dad telling me that the medicine and shot Doctor Cox gave him seems to be helping with the pain!
12. My Mom, she just never quits anything. She is such a go-getter, I don't see where she gets all her energy and strength from.
13. Knowing that the Lord will guide Nathan and me in our decisions.
14. I am thankful that in the end, I know things will always work out for the goodness of the Lord's will! :)
15. That I am a good Mom!
16. That I went over the "10" that seems to be "the number" Yeah, someone suggested "10", but come-on, we all know we have more then 10 things we should and could be thankful for right! That's just keeping it at a minimum I guess. -from now on, it's just going to be my "thankful list", not 10 things I am thankful for...:)
17. C size batteries for Natalies's toys, and my battery recharger for my digital camera! :)

Thanks Tina! I appreciate your comment! Ya know, the sermon at our church this morning was in short, how God see's everything. Most importantly how he see's everthing and everyone, and sends glory and angels down upon all who do beleive. But those who don't beleive, don't see it at all. So, as well as the lesson you learned, it seems to me, that I got a big "HELLO" from the Father up above today! Thank you so much for the biblical advice, and comment! I do appreciate it, and every now and then, I guess we all need a perfect Christian friend around to receive a good kick in the butt from! :)Thanks Tina! I love you!
Hope Mark is okay!
