I went to a concert last night. I saw the "Casting Crowns" in live, Lousiville Ky., on their tour "Lifesong" It was great! What was most awesome about the whole concert, it this: I have never been to a Christian concert. This concert was so much like any other that I've been too, with the exception of one or two things. 1.) the thought occured to me....this many people, all together, rejoicing, singing, and praising; not just "this music that was being staged", but it was GOD's word kind of music! :) I thought about how cool that was during the whole concert. 2.) there was the desire for for not just the music there...but God all together! The music was awesome, the words to the songs were awesome...and so was the surrounding.
One question was asked during the concert...Are you ready? Are you prepared for what you will tell God, the Holy Father when you are standing in front of Him at the Gates of Heaven, for Judgement!? I felt confident that I could answer that question. I am positive. I am comfortable in knowing my answer to this question, are you?
Today I am thankful for :
1. Going to Louisville with my Mom yesterday and a good Girl Scout Meeting! Thanks Mom!
2. Shopping with Paula and Melisa yesterday, and being a part of helping Melisa pick out her Senior prom dress! FUN FUN FUN!
3. The concert of Casting Crowns Paula, Melisa and I went to!
4. I am thankful for the out of the ordinary yesterday, with no child in tow, and without worry.
5. for Tina keeping Natalie Friday night so that I could leave my house before the sun rose Saturday a.m., for Louisville, and having her ALL day long Saturday. Natalie got a little fever saturday ?who knows why? but I was glad Tina got to take care of her since I could not.
7. For going to the Disney store and finding the perfect Tinkerbell picture frame and hot chocolate mug with Tinkerbell for Tina, b/c she kept Natalie.
8. I am thankful for going to Church with Natalie this morning. Third Sunday in a row now that Nathan has had to work. And man...it's getting tough in service with Natalie's "testy little attitude" and Bossiness bymyself in Church. (almost makes me not want to go) Please keep me in your prayers as we coast through the Terrifying Threes' and that we both can survive with our sanity in tact! :)
9. I am thankful for the walk with Nikki tonight! :) We walked probably a mile. I was wondering if she would make it, but she did with flying colors.
10. I am thankful for Nathan going to Henderson last night to pick me up at his brothers' house when Paula and I got home.
11. I am thankful for talking to my Mom on the phone today, and my Dad. Dad's doing well with his knee, and is surviving through therapy quite well.
12. For all the prayers from my Dad's surgery. :)
13. Time well spent with Tina this afternoon! Thanks for coming over :)
