Happy Easter!

Hope you all had a GREAT EASTER! We sure did!
Today "we" (Nathan and I) are thankful for the following:
1. A beautiful outside 6:00a.m. Church sunrise service,
2. A wonderful breakfast cooked by the men of the Church,
3. A great travel to and from my Mom and Dads' today,
4. Attending Mom and Dad's Church Service
5. My highlight of the day....would you know that Mom pulled one up on us today! During their Church service, Natalie was just having a 'fit' to go to her "Gramma" (she plays the piano for Church), and naturally I was not caving into her desire. One glance at Mom during a prayer, and she was WELCOMING Natalie to her. So, I indilligently let her go. She sat down on the pew right beside Mom, after Mom told her something in her ear. I knew Mom was up to something, and had a feeling what it was. After the prayer, one more song, and time for sermon, Mom walks with Natalie to the preacher and wispers something to him, and they proceed up to the pulpit....the preacher situates the microphone for someone real real short. (Nathan and I were just thinking "she won't do this, this is CRAZY"). Mom says to the people....Natalie is my grandaughter, and she's gonna sing a song. Natalie " big eyed, smiles, bright and bushy tailed" is stood up in a chair to reach the microphone, and literally blasts out with her sweet and precious memorization of Amazing Grace! She was amazed at all the people she had looking and listening to her, and she smiled so big, and wasn't going to stop for anything! She loved it, being behind the microphone! No inhibition! I was so shocked....Nathan and I both were fighting our 'awe that's my baby performing tears'. It was so sweet, and then she asked everyone to sing it with her. So...I am thankful for my daughters first experience at singing in Church! :) Thanks Mom!!!!
6. A great Easter dinner at Caponnes with Mom, Dad, Nathan and Natalie!
7. Seeing a long time friend, and bridesmaied in our wedding; Erin Hutchins at Caponnes today! That was a welcomed surprise! :)
8.Talking to Tina via email today, and being offered the opportunity to "house" her tanning bed for a while for her in my basement, until she can find a more 'roomier space' for it elsewhere! (take your time Tina!....it's no big deal, really!)

9. For the nap that Natalie took at Mom and Dad's house, allowing just enough time for Nathan and I to go to Union City together!
10. For spending the day with my Mom and Dad! :)
11. For being able to get a picture of Natalie and Madison this morning before we all left for church! :)
12. This was our first Easter as members Roaring Springs Christian Church, and we are very happy of this picture of Natalie by our Churchs' building.

Amy,
What wonderful pictures of my grandbaby who is such a precious little girl! Your witness for Jesus through your blog is just great! Anyone who reads your column regularly and doesn't know Jesus would surely get to know Him soon. And, yes I could see the pride in your and Nathan's eyes yesterday while Natalie sang. I'll always remember lifting her up onto the chair to reach the microphone at her 37 months of age to sing a special Amazing Grace at church, with every word clearly enunciated. It brightened everyone's day at our church, so I've been told. She shared and witnessed, too. You both had eyes as big as saucers! We loved having you three here all day.
Love, Mom

I love Natalie's Easter outfit. Maybe I will have one make like it for myself next Easter. Madison also looked great.I would make it look fantastic.

One of the nice things about being a cement lawn goose is that I can wear whatever fashion I like. Boy, girl, man, woman, frog, flamingo, it makes no difference to me.

Bill, one of the humans who serves me, said to tell you that he is very impressed with the red pickup truck above, it is a Chevy, he thinks.
