I read this verse tonight in my devotion, and knew God was talkin' to me. A situation occured tonight, over the phone that sorta just struck the wrong cord with me. I was not happy, very upset, and just flat out aggrivated! Furious! And do you know, THIS VERSE was the first line I laid my eyes on. GOD's screamin...Amy, let this go, and love with kindness! How perfect! Sure,I might have thought of this on my own, probably a day, maybe two, after I might have said something I regret later. But now, I am telling myself to let it go, and overcome it with good. God will work this out! He's all I need. Life is way too precious to be anything but happy!
Today I am thankful for:
1. Daily devotions.
2. Working in my yard with Nathan and Natalie tonight. We had fun together.
3. Talking to my Mom on the phone. (by the way MOM...you can not paint your tables and chairs, )
4. Seeing all the greeness and biggness of the trees on my drive home from work. So beautiful.
5. That my day at work turned out on a positive note. :) That's always good!
6. For the sweet emails that a friend and my Dad sent me today! They pointed out how important it is to have God in our lives, and how lucky we are to have him! So true!
7. Being able to do a 'My thankful list', which allows me to really think about the joy, happiness, smiles, and realities that God provides me and my life with.
8. Sunkist Orange drink! Natalie and I have been sharing one every day lately. How fun. ~memories~
9. Ribbon. and being able to pick out the ribbon of choice at fabric stores b/c they make perfect page markers, especially when I have several in one book (my bible).
10. The power of prayer!
11. Email from my Aunt Ellen. (she said that my grandfather...Dad's Dad, always liked to dip brownies and cookies in milk too, so it must be where Natalie got that from?)!
