"Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"- Luke 12:34

Where's my treasure? Where's my heart? Where do I begin to answer this question? Naturally it seems to me, and probably others as well, I would answer it with this: Definitely my kid! Because that's where my heart is...anything for my child! The love and care, concern and thought of her that I have throught my thoughts is tremendous! Then I'd say that another majority of my heart is with my husband, my Mom, my immediate, extended families (in-laws' as well!), and my circle of friends, my house, and all the things in life that I just absolutely feel I could bare not to live without.
But wait , without God, none of this would be possible for my enjoyment, and physical contentment. So where does my heart truely dwell? Easy answer that one is! With God the Father of Jesus our Lord and Saviour! Without a doubt! We are God's children, so inturn as I described above, we know how he feels, as parents, towards each one of us. He's got a BIG heart full of LOTS of love!!! {because there's a lot of us} Provided our hearts are with Him, and our treasures are with Him, God will grace us even more with His love! Why? Because; "Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."- 1 Samuel 16:7
With all this studied and shared today, I am thankful for:
1. Him!
2. Natalie always asking me "Mommy, what do you want to sing next???" She just loves to sing! And she has such a sweet pretty little voice!
3. The walk Tina and I went on tonight!
4. Nathan getting the filter changed in our stove top hood, it REALLY needed it!
5. The walk Natalie and I went on. When I got back from walking with Tina, Natalie really wanted to go on it too, so I took her, and she walked half of it (that's half a mile..right Tina?)
6. God taking care of the situation on my mind from last night. It really is amazing how God can take over when you let him! No feeling like it! :)
7. Bagels and cream cheese. I've always liked them for breakfast, and thankgoodness Natalie does too! :)
8. DR. PEPPER! : ) Huge fan of it!
9. Nikki and Gizmo being able to enjoy this afternoon outside for longer than usuall. It wasn't really all that hot, and breezy almost too. Both of them just sat and smiled. (don't dogs smile?)
10. Moms ability to play and teach piano! Mom plays so well, and it is incredible to hear some of the students she's taught. It's like she's just spreading her tallent around Fulton and really the rest of the world too! (b/c they get married and move off etc,). Cool to think about! She's got a piano recital coming up. It should be nice!

Why thank you for the kind words! I do love teaching piano and hope that I instill a love for piano in those whom I teach. The piano recital is on July 9, 3:00, First Christian Church, Fulton.
Speaking of my former students around the world...I ran into Becky Heisel's mom at the grocery store today. Becky is expecting her first baby (a boy) in August! After January, her husband will be going overseas, so Becky will be at home with her parents for nearly a year. We must see her while she is home, don't you think? And Stephanie and Katie are both getting married. Katie and her fiancee are both miitary--he's a bomber pilot and she's a bomber pilot navigator (both Air Force). Wow, big responsibilities. Stephanie and her fiancee are also both military (Marines), returning from Iraq. Becky and her husband are Army, I think. Incredible!
Love you,
Mom
