Quilts:

Remember a while back, I was SO excited that my Mom had a quilt made for me: see the quilt.
Well, I hooked up with a friend of mine, who knows how to quilt, and I worked one up for my Mom this year! ;)
It was not an easy task. I had to go to my mom's house two or three times through the year, to search her closet for 'old' clothes that I hadn't seen her wear in YEARS....some of them (sweatshirts) from her teaching years, that she hadn't worn, well..in years...sat up on her closet shelves with DUST on them ...so that was easy..BUT....then I needed more. wow...what a task it was.
Needless to say, I was SO happy with how it turned out! ;)
